Still Small Voice

The ways of the Lord are past finding out. He has decided to hide HIMSELF in the STILL SMALL VOICE! Can you imagine the mighty God of heaven coming through to us as a-still-small voice?

Psalm 32:8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
Job 32:8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.

Learn to respect God in the form that HE has consigned HIMSELF to, not the form you expect – looking for the spectacular. God may not come through the wind, fire or earthquake. You don’t have to dream, shake, and see a vision or any of such before He communes with you in the corridor of your heart. 

Look inwards when you need an answer from HIM. Don’t look around, look inside; there is a spirit in you! That’s where inspiration from the Lord reaches you. Culture your spirit with truth such that inner light from God guides your decisions. It is your responsibility to train yourself to pick the still small voice. 

The more you lie, deceive or pretend, the more you let darkness into your soul, the more divine guidance will not be forth coming with clarity and the more confused you become which then makes it easier for the devil to cause you to stumble. But the more you feed on God’s word and tell the truth by heart and by mouth the more light fills your soul and you enjoy clarity in divine communication. 

Don’t despise the still small voice that sounds in your soul from the throne of grace. Power, life, grace, direction, provision, and other things that God gives are in it!

Prayer: Lord, I receive grace to live in such a way that your voice will be preserved in my life in Jesus name. Speak, Lord, for YOUR servant heareth!
