You Are Not Small

For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth. Deuteronomy 14:2

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: You are special to God and your place in all your endeavours in life is above...

You are very special to God hence your place in all your endeavours in life should be above. You are meant to be in charge in your business, academics, politics, or professional career. In spirituality, you are positioned far above every witch, wizard and any other power of darkness. You are a peculiar person! Jeremiah 30:19 says, ‘And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.’ You see, smallness is not your portion as a child of God.

Nothing about you is small. Considering the wonders of creation, one is tempted to ask, how many stars are in the sky? They are uncountable. How many grains of sand are on the seashore? Absolutely innumerable! How many mountains are in the world? Very numerous! How many species of birds, animals and aquatic beings do you know? All these confirm that Jehovah God does not do small things. That is why He says ‘I will glorify you and you shall not be small’ (Jer. 30:19b). If the consciousness of God as your Maker and Father really dawns on you, you cannot be struggling for where to sleep, what to eat, and what to wear. God never deals with people and leaves them to struggle with others. People should be looking at you to learn how not just to survive, but to excel and succeed in life. Therefore, take your place at the top and leave the pit today!

Remember this: you are special to God and your place in life is above, whether it in business, academics, politics, or in your professional career.

ASSIGNMENT (S):
1. Endeavour to change any small and limiting mindset in your life.
2. Make positive effort to get to the top, relying on God’s help.

PRAYER: Lord, by Your covenant with Your people, I cannot be small and my generation cannot be small, in Jesus’ Name.
