THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The touch of God delivers man from the reproach and affliction of life.

The touch of God handles your failures and weaknesses and positions you over nations and territories. The Bible in Matthew 8:2-3 gives an account of a leper touched by Jesus and it says, ‘And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.'  The touch of God is what delivers man from the reproach and afflictions of life. It wiped out leprosy from the leper.

Also, 1 Samuel 10:26 says, ‘And Saul also went home to Gibeah; and there went with him a band of men, whose hearts God had touched.’ When God touches the heart of any man, he will align his life with the Will of God for him. In the same vein, when God touches your heart, you will also fall in line with His plan and purpose for your life. That is why when you have been touched by God, you will not move at the same rate with your contemporaries. 1 Kings 18:46 says, ‘And the hand of the Lord was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.’ Just like Elijah above, a man touched by God will run faster than chariots and horses of men, and that shall be your testimony, in Jesus’ Name.

ASSIGNMENT (S):
1. Let it be registered in your spirit that what you need in order to move faster than your contemporaries is the touch of God and not the touch of man.

PRAYER: Lord, touch my life, so that my speed will increase towards the fulfilment of my life’s assignment, in Jesus’ Name.
