Unusual Supplies By The Blessing

And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold. Genesis 13:2.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: You are a reservoir of supply.

In the previous days, we have been looking at how powerful the Blessing of God is. Today, we shall be looking at another dimension of the blessing. The Blessing of God carries unusual abundance. In Genesis 12:2-3, God said to Abraham, ‘I will bless you and you shall be a blessing’. That is to say, Abraham would be blessed in abundance beyond the capacity of personal consumption; a realm where what God supplies you is too much for only you and your family to consume. When you are blessed, you are not just a pond but an ocean and a reservoir of supply. When you are blessed, you become a generational, family and community reservoir. The life of a blessed man is like the stream in the village that serves everybody. When you are blessed, your life services your generation; it flows beyond you to your generation. Abraham, for instance, is an easy reference point for the Blessing in Scripture. And even up till today, Abraham’s seeds still remain blessed. Genesis 24:1 says, ‘And Abraham was old, and well stricken in age: and the Lord had blessed Abraham in all things.’ Take a look at the nation of Israel for instance. Israel is a blessing to the world in terms of security, technology and even food. Sixty percent (60%) of Israel’s land mass is desert, yet it is exporting food to the world. The second biggest diamond refinery in the world is in Israel. The voice mail technology originated from IsraelThe Blessing of God makes you a channel. That is to say, everything about you positively impacts your generation. Beloved, by the time Jehovah is through with you, you won’t even be able to recognise yourself. God is going to change your story until you become a surprise to yourself, in Jesus’ Name!
