For as
the rain cometh down, … and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and
maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to
the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not
return unto me void, ... Isaiah 55:10-11
THOUGHT
FOR THE DAY: The
rain of the Word softens our grounds for productivity and increase...
In our
study yesterday, we saw that the rain of the Word triggers the rain of
blessing. Now, how does the rain of the Word of God bring about the blessing?
1. The
rain of the Word softens our grounds for productivity and increase. Just as nothing softens hard
ground like rain from above, nothing softens life like the rain of the Word of
God. When a man says, ‘Things are hard,’ all he needs is the rainfall of the
Word. If a pastor says, ‘Things are hard in ministry,’ all he needs is the
rainfall of the Word. If things are hard and dry in your business, what you
need is the rainfall of the Word in that business and you will be amazed at the
results you will see.
2. The
rain of the Word waters your seeds and efforts to bring about desired results. It is possible to give and
even tithe without revelation. For instance, most people in the traditional
Churches know rigidly what it means to tithe. They call it one over ten (1/10),
and some of them have been doing it for many years. But for many of them, the
practice hasn’t changed anything in their lives positively because it may have
been done only religiously and not ‘revelationally.’ Beloved, it is the rain of
the Word that makes the difference. The rain of the Word of God (revelation)
waters your effort to produce results. Before this month is over, every hard
ground in your life shall be softened. Dryness shall give way in all your
endeavours in Jesus’ Name!

2. Connect yourself to the rainfall of the Word through listening to messages relevant to your area of challenge.
