How To Live In Divine Health

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.3 John 1:2.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The Anointing and healing Power of God can be transmitted through material points of contact.

Existence in perfect health is the perfect will of God for His children. However, people fall into ill health for many reasons, and one of them is carelessness. For instance, a person who takes too much sugar should not blame any devil if he becomes diabetic later in life. Taking excess sugar, fats, and other junk foods can affect your health negatively. Another thing that causes ill health is a careless and immoral lifestyle. Habits like smoking, drinking of alcohol and immoral conducts can make a person vulnerable to satanic attacks. This kind of lifestyle can also make people to be susceptible to diseases like liver sclerosis, cancer of the lungs, HIV/AIDS etc. And it can take a person to hell at the end of their journey on earth. A person’s health can also come under serious attack by satanic forces. The person in this case may not do anything to deserve the attack; they may just happen to be victims of the enemy’s confrontation.

If someone finds himself in a situation of ill health, how then does he get out of it and begin to enjoy Divine health?

1. Confession and forgiveness of sins. When sins are confessed and forgiven, a channel for Divine healing and health is created (James 5:14-16). This shows that there is a relationship between the state of our soul (spirit) and the state of our body.

2. The prayer of faith. The prayer of faith also saves the sick (James 5:15).

3. The anointing oil and other material points of contact. The Anointing and healing Power of God can be transmitted through material points of contact. In Acts 19:12, material points of contact such as handkerchiefs and aprons were taken from the body of Paul to heal the sick. During the time of our Master, Jesus Christ’s earthly ministry, the woman with the issue of blood touched the helm of His garment and she was healed. You too shall receive His healing touch today, in Jesus’ Name.

ASSIGNMENT (S):
1. Continually confess your sins and release everyone who has offended you.
2. Watch what you eat and endeavour to make right nutritional choices.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to make the right nutritional choices even as I live in good health, in Jesus’ Name.
