The Blessing – A Shield Of Favour

For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. Psalms 5:12.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: When God blesses you, the blessing covers you with favour and the favour sends back to sender every arrow of negativity, calamity, adversity and misfortune...

In our study yesterday, we saw that God is unusually committed to the blessing of the righteous. And from our anchor Scripture above, we can see that the blessing of the righteous offers him the shield of favour. That shield of favour has the capacity to deflect calamity, negativity, adversity and misfortune. Other people use metal to shield themselves, but when God blesses you, the blessing covers you with the shield of favour which will send back to sender, every arrow of negativity, calamity, adversity, and misfortune. The shield of favour also magnetises prosperity, positivity, opportunity and fortune. If God shields you with His favour, opportunity, fortune, stupendous wealth, unusual supplies, and unusual resources will be effortlessly magnetised to you.

Beloved, God has calculated the blessing in His agenda for the righteous. Just as the money paid for a flight covers the meal to be taken on-board the flight as well, the blessing is encapsulated in the redemption package. Therefore, if you are in the flight of redemption, you are entitled to the meal of the blessing. In Revelation chapter five verse twelve we read, ‘...Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.’ You see, the blessing is inside the menu of salvation; it is part of what was already paid for by the Blood of Jesus at Calvary. And that blessing that the Blood of Jesus secured for you is released upon you right now, in the Name of Jesus. Every curse fighting your destiny is reversed today by the Blood of Jesus. Beloved, you are too blessed to fail!

ASSIGNMENT (S):
1. Carry out your daily assignments with the consciousness that you are too blessed to fail.
2. Cover yourself with the shield of favour before you go about your daily activities.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive the blessing that the Blood of Jesus secured for me by His Precious Blood on Calvary, in Jesus’ Name.
