And be
not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your
mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of
God. Romans
12:2
THOUGHT
FOR THE DAY: The
light of revelation is the answer to the darkness of affliction...
The Word of
God has made it clear that we were created to live in Divine health. The man
God created was not meant to battle with pain or sorrow throughout his life on
earth. Pain came as a result of “adamic” rebellion in the Garden of Eden. How
then do you access your heritage of Divine health?
It is by
renewing your mind with the Word of God consistently on the reality of your
heritage in God. You can use the messages you hear in Church to charge and
‘wash’ your mind. And having thus renewed your mind, if somebody should tell
you for instance, ‘These days anybody can die,’ you will tell that person,
‘That is not true.’ Or ‘These days anybody can be infected;’ you will tell
them, ‘It is not true; that afflicting virus or bacteria has been handled by
Jesus Christ; I reject it.’
Now, why is
it necessary to renew your mind? It is necessary because the light of
revelation is the answer to the darkness of affliction. That is why the Bible
says in John 1:5, ‘The light shineth in darkness and the darkness comprehendeth
it not.’ What you know therefore determines what you show. It is the light in
your spirit, the understanding you have in certain matters that darkness and
demons see and tremble. That’s why demons flee when they see some of us
approaching. This usually leaves many people wondering. The fact is that they
are running because they are seeing something that physical eyes can’t see.
The light
of revelation is what confronts the darkness of affliction. So, acquire the
light to kill the night; absorb the light and dissolve the night. The light in
your spirit therefore is an ‘afflictionicide.’ That is to say, if insecticides
kill insects, then ‘afflictionicides’ kill afflictions. From this day forward,
I prophesy that when the forces of darkness see you, they shall tremble in the
Name of Jesus.
ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Endeavour to study the Word on a consistent basis to get insight.
2. Meditate on and internalise the insights you receive for them to be absorbed by your spirit.
