God’s Promise And Provision For Supernatural Supply

And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. – Genesis 2:8. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Abundance is the destiny of God’s covenant people.

God’s plan for man right from creation is for him to dwell in the midst of supplies. God did not create man to exist in the wilderness or the desert of life. That was why He put Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. In the Garden of Eden, God planted four rivers that watered the whole earth. So, you are not created to exist in a dry land. Dryness is not the destiny of God’s people. It was fertile grounds, full and wet grounds that God put man after creation. This fertile ground contained gold and other mineral resources for man. This is a proof that He is interested in our Supernatural supply and provision. God promises us supplies in His Word. It is, therefore, the plan of God for the people of God to be established financially and materially.
Beloved, what you know is what you can show. What then do we need to know in order to access our inheritance of God’s promise and provision of Supernatural supply?

1. Man’s supply existed before man’s creation. The supplies God had for man predated man’s creation. What was needed by man was on ground before man was created. That is to show you that God had a plan for man’s provision.
2. Man’s welfare is God’s priority. God did not create man to struggle for survival. He planted a garden and put man in it. He didn’t put man in the wilderness. God did not create you to struggle for survival or to try to make ends meet because your welfare is His priority. When God asked man to work the Garden, it was not because man needed salary. He gave him work in order to release his potentials, to provoke productivity and creativity, and to destroy idleness and decadence. The fact is, God does not want anything and anybody to be idle.
3. Abundance is the destiny of God’s covenant people. God told the children of Israel that He was bringing them to great and goodly cities and houses full of good things(Deuteronomy 6:10-11).
4. There is a realm in God where His people achieve without labour what others labour to achieve. God said, ‘I will bring you to a city which you didn’t build, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plantedst not (Deuteronomy 6:10-11).’ I remember the testimony of a young sister some time ago. She travelled to America and mysteriously got in contact with a rich woman whom God gave her favour with supernaturally. When she came back to Nigeria, she was told that the woman had written in her will that certain properties be given to her. The rich woman willed two major properties (one in America and the other in Brazil) without any form of labour at all. There is a realm of abundance in God for His people. You are reaching there in Jesus’ Name.
ASSIGNMENT (S): 1. Identify any anti-covenant practice in your life and prayerfully endeavour to stop it. 2. Be involved in Kingdom financial practice and service.
PRAYER: O Lord, open my eyes to see Your provision for my supply.

QUOTE: Supernatural overflow is Supernatural harvest from extra-natural and unexplainable sources. It is God deciding to overwhelm us with resources that we cannot explain. Culled from 21 UNCOMMON KEYS TO FINANCIAL OVERFLOW by Dr Paul Enenche.
