The Power of Purpose

The discovery and pursuit of your divine purpose will lead to the salvation of multitudes. God has attached the salvation of several people to the divine purpose that you carry and you don’t have to be a pastor, but you must discover your destiny and pursue it so that those people will not be doomed. Esther, Joseph, Nehemiah and the Lord Jesus Christ are examples of Bible men and women that discovered and pursued their purpose. They were instrumental to the salvation of multitudes in their family, nation and generation. Continue...

The nation of Israel would have been wiped out if Joseph had corrupted himself with Portiphar’s wife; he would have also died as a slave because of the pleasure of sin. God positioned Esther as the saviour of the people of God but she never knew it until Mordecai brought it to her consciousness and the people of God were preserved.

The Lord Jesus Christ is still saving souls today because that was the purpose for which He came. When you discover your purpose and pursue it, multitudes will be positively affected. When you’re walking in your purpose, you’ll discover that you cannot only live for yourself anymore; families, cities, nations, generations will call you blessed because you walked in your purpose.

Labour in the place of prayer to know what God will have you do and if you don’t know for certain, start with the basic assignment that God has given us in the Great Commission in Mark 16:15 – 17 (KJV) “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;”

As you do this with all your heart, God will reveal the details of your destiny to you and/or through the pastor He has chosen for you. Equip yourself daily in the word of God and live a life of purity and utmost dedication to God so that you can always be God’s first choice for the purpose He has for you. Don’t miss any opportunity to acquire depths in the knowledge of God in witnessing, ministering healing to the sick, baptism of the Holy Ghost and casting out demons and all nations will be blessed because of you.

PRAYER: Father, help me not to fail in pursuing your purpose over my life. Deliver me from slothfulness and carelessness in my training for destiny in Jesus name. Amen.
