For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also
suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps (1
Peter 2:21). Continue...
Jesus came to demonstrate to us the supernatural life that
God has called us to live. When He walked this earth, His life and ministry
were an absolute demonstration of the righteousness of God, and dominion of the
Spirit. He had a different mind-set—one of absolute mastery. He wasn’t subject
to the depravities and corrupting influences of this world. He ruled over
nature and lived above it; His triumphant life on earth was an example for us
to follow.
Since we have the same life and nature with Him, we also can
live triumphantly everyday, with dominion over circumstances. The Bible says as
He is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17). Jesus walked on water, opened
blind eyes, unstopped deaf ears, made the lame to walk, restored speech to the
dumb, raised the dead, and literally transcended natural laws.
When the winds billowed against the ship as He sailed with
His disciples, with audacity, He commanded the winds and the waves to be calm.
His disciples, who were present, were awe struck and exclaimed, “…What manner
of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him” (Matthew 8:27)!
This is the Jesus that we follow, and whose life and nature
we have. Every step He took and every word He spoke were outflows of the
supernatural! We're exactly like Him and ought to live the supernatural life
twenty-four hours a day. Divinity is at work in you. Blessed be God!
CONFESSION
I refuse to condescend to this earthly plane of life because as Jesus is, so am I in this world. He’s the effulgence of God’s glory; therefore, my life is full of His glory, power and might. I live triumphantly, irrespective of the circumstances of this world. Halleluiah!
