There are two main things that you must learn and master as a
believer. I mean as soon as you get born again, the two major subjects that you
must master are:
1) How to be led by the Holy Spirit.
2) How to live by faith.
2) How to live by faith.
There are 7 things that attract the Holy Spirit to a man.

1. Your posture in Church. The Holy Spirit is attracted to a
man who has the posture of a learner. Develop the posture of a learner in
Church. Some people come with knowledge and arguments in their heart but the
Holy Spirit only looks to the learner and ministers to such.
2. Your attitude in Church. You must cultivate the right attitude of reverence in God’s presence.
3. Your expectation. God does not look in the direction of anyone who is not expecting anything from him. Therefore come with an expectant heart when approaching God’s presence. This attracts the Holy Ghost to you.
4. Your faith. The Holy Spirit is looking to respond to and meet you at the point and level of your faith. Your faith is chosen by the words you speak.
5. Your estimation. Your estimation of the words of God and the carrier of His word also attract the Holy Ghost to you. Jesus could do no mighty work in his home town because his people lightly estimated him as an ordinary carpenter. Don’t be found despising God’s anointed. It’s a major error.
6. Your personal response to God’s presence and God’s word. God looks to men who tremble at His word.
7. Your submission to God’s order. God is a God of order and your submission to God’s order will also attract the Holy Spirit to you.

These points above, if worked carefully into your life, will
greatly endear you to the Holy Spirit. Labour on yourself to get the Holy
Spirit attracted to your life. That is when your life won’t be void of divine
contributions.
