God's kingdom is not built on similarities, it's built on differences.
God created us equally, but He does not assign responsibility or give us
portions equally. Differences are what makes life to work. You can't have faith
beyond the level of your knowledge in God. God will not be a true rewarder if
there is no distinction. There must be a distinction in the output if there are
different inputs. Your life must be distinct from the life of an unbeliever in
your office or the unbeliever staying around your house. Continue...
The
doctrines of difference as a Christian include the following:
1. There is responsibility and there are privileges. When you take it
upon yourself to live differently you will have a different result. You can't
live like the devil and enjoy the reward of a saint.
2. We have different outcomes. Our outcomes are covenant compliant. If
it’s against the covenant then we can't have it. You don’t have to like what is
going on but you should not join yourself to a negative position. Get your
mouth in line with what God is doing II Cor. 6:14.
3. We have an intercessor. Heb. 7:22 – 25. Jesus is presently standing in
the office of an intercessor over saints. He’s our surety, our guarantor who is
taking hold with us against the wiles of the enemies.
4. We are loved by the father. The saints are so precious to God that He
could give the life of men for their lives. For a Christian, nothing bad just
happens. Isaiah 43:1 – 4.
5. We have different rewards. Matthew 4:21 – 22. Not everyone has left
something to follow God. Jesus said, whoever left house, or brethren, or
sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and
the gospel, will also receive a hundredfold now in this time, and in the world
to come – eternal life.
Prayer: Lord help me to work in the revelation of differences as it
is operated in the Kingdom so that I will be maximized and not be engrossed
with comparison that will make me foolish in Jesus’ name. Amen.
