The discovery and pursuit of divine purpose
qualifies you for the help of God at every point in time. When you discover
your divine purpose and start running with it, God’s commitment is
guaranteed. The Amplified Bible puts it this way in Psa. 91:11, “For He will
give His angels [especial] charge over you to accompany and defend and preserve
you in all your ways [of obedience and service].” When you are obedient to the
dictates of your purpose in God, know that specially designated angels are on
hand to defend and preserve you. Continue...
In Esther 4:14 – 16, Esther broke the law of the
land because it was not yet her turn to see the king, but God overruled
the consequences because Esther was walking in the purpose of God for her life.
She didn’t deliberately break the law as a criminal but because the
law had been used against the people of God by a crooked Haman. In her purpose,
God used Esther to overrule the evil intent of Haman. That law was
not supposed to be changed but by God’s commitment and favour first to an
Esther walking in her purpose, the King waved the law. When you discover your
divine purpose and you start walking in alignment with it, you will enter
realms of special favours of God for your life and events that are beyond will
start happening in your life.
There are some general blessings that every Born
Again Christian qualifies for but if and only if you pursue your purpose will
you walk in the realms of incredible divine commitment. How else can you
explain Daniel in the Lion’s Den? Or Moses walking on dry land in the red
sea and the nation of Egypt
perished behind them? Proffer explanations for Haman’s death on the same
gallows that he planned to execute Mordecai.
God is not committed to your needs as much as He is
committed to your purpose. In fact, the purpose of God is greater than your
prayers. Instead of going from pillar to post looking for someone to pray for
you, why don’t you set the rest of this year to walk in the accuracy of your
destiny. Apostle Paul said, “Wherefore, O King Agrippa, I was not disobedient
unto the heavenly vision!” Psalm 91:11 is only guaranteed in obedience to
divine purpose of God but for every Jonah that chooses to disobey, there are
whales in the river of life ready to swallow them.
Prayer: Father, deliver me from a heart of
disobedience. I pledge to do your will and walk in obedience to your divine
purpose in Jesus’ name. Amen.
