Antidote Against Deadly Enemies Of Destiny

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Proverbs 4:23

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: When the mind is made up, anything is possible because the capacity of the human mind is infinite...

Insincerity or ‘fakeness’ is another deadly enemy that destroys people’s lives and destinies. It makes a person to be too careless to listen to what God is saying to him. Insincerity is detrimental to life and destiny. That is why it is the desire of God for His children to be free from all deadly enemies of destiny.

The following are the therapies against the enemies of destiny:

1. Absolute surrender to the control of the Holy Spirit. Ask the Holy Spirit to take over and empower your will.
2. You must learn to say, ‘No’ to the flesh. You must learn to tell your flesh to do what you want it to do. When the mind is made up, anything is possible because the capacity of the human mind is infinite. But the truth is you can’t get the best of your mind’s capacity until you put it to work. You will never be able to reach your destiny until you stretch your potential. Many people oversleep and over-do several things that make their lives to decay.
3. Surround your life with disciplined people. Let serious-minded people be your friends. The Bible in Proverbs 27:17 says, ‘Iron sharpeneth iron.’ If you are surrounded with unserious, undisciplined people, your life will move in the same ruinous direction as theirs. Wrong association and wrong information from an undisciplined person can influence your life negatively. Deliver yourself from the spell of indecision. Deliver yourself from wrong associations because they are not profitable to your life. I see the help of God coming upon you to be able to do that in Jesus Name!

ASSIGNMENT (S):
1. Endeavour to surrender yourself to the control of the Holy Spirit.
2. Try as much as possible to say, ‘No’ to the flesh.

PRAYER: Lord, empower my will above every deadly enemy of my flesh, in Jesus’ Name.
