THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The bankruptcy of excellence is the frustration of God’s vision for mankind.

Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power (1 Corinthians 15:24).

MEMORISE: Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase. Job 8:7.

‘Jihadi John’: Islamic State killer is identified as Londoner Mohammed Emwazi

The world knows him as “Jihadi John,” the masked man with a British accent who has beheaded several hostages held by the Islamic State and who taunts audiences in videos circulated widely online. But his real name, according to friends and others familiar with his case, is Mohammed Emwazi, a Briton from a well-to-do family who grew up in West London and graduated from college with a degree in computer programming. He is believed to have travelled to Syria around 2012 and to have later joined the Islamic State, the group whose barbarity he has come to symbolize...

For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness (Romans 4:3). Some Christians haven’t quite understood the concept of righteousness. They still look at the righteousness of God from its result, rather than its source. As Christians, we received righteousness as a gift: “...they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ” (Romans 5:17). Right living is the result of righteousness; right living isn’t righteousness.

MEMORISE: Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: Matthew 7:7.

Unusual Supplies By The Blessing

And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold. Genesis 13:2.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: You are a reservoir of supply.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof (Proverbs 18:21).

God spoke creation into being through words. When He said, "Let there be light", light came into being (Genesis 1:3). Most of Genesis chapter one is about God speaking creation into being. Have you ever wondered why God had to "talk" to bring forth these things instead of making them? It's because by talking, you create a sound code. Speech creates sound waves, and the original source material for creation is sound, because that's the energy produced by words.

MEMORISE: Be merciful unto me, O Lord: for I cry unto thee daily. Psalm 86:3.

And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. Genesis 12:2-3

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: A blessed man does not fight his own battles; God fights for him.

Thursday Rhapsody Of Realities - A Necessity For Spiritual Growth

That we henceforth be no more children...But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ (Ephesians 4:14-15).

MEMORISE: For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. Psalm 30:5.

US Woman Kidnapped in Kogi State

A US missionary worker has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen in Kogi state. According to the spokesperson of the Kogi state Police command, Mr Sola Colins, the kidnapped woman who's an American citizen was kidnapped inside her school premises at about 10am on 23 February 2015.

"She was whisked away at around 10:00 am (0900 GMT) Monday. The kidnappers were "unknown gunmen...(who) came into the school premises shooting sporadically to scare away people before taking (the hostage) away into the bush" he said.

The Power Of The Blessing

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. Genesis 1:28.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: There is something heavy in the blessing that makes you vital to your generation.

And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified (Acts 20:32).

MEMORISE: It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: Psalm 92:1.

According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue (2 Peter 1:3).

As you study the scriptures, and grow in the knowledge of God's Word, you'd discover that everything you could ever want has been provided in the Word. What God wants isn't for us to use prayer as an avenue to ask Him for the things we need; rather, the purpose of prayer is our fellowship with Him. That's what He seeks.

How To Live In Divine Health

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.3 John 1:2.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The Anointing and healing Power of God can be transmitted through material points of contact.

MEMORISE: Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. Psalm 29:2.

A Change Of Mentality

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Proverbs 4:23.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Any fear, agitation or spirit of uncertainty in your mind has to die.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek (Romans 1:16).

MEMORISE: Ye worship ye know not what we know what we worship for salvation is of the Jews. John 4:22.

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Ephesians 6:17.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Every time you encounter Rhema, a sword has been handed to you.

MEMORISE: And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed. Acts 16:25-26...

And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder (Matthew 21:44).

The Blessing – A Shield Of Favour

For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. Psalms 5:12.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: When God blesses you, the blessing covers you with favour and the favour sends back to sender every arrow of negativity, calamity, adversity and misfortune...

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The Word of God must guide our steps and not the opinions of people, feelings of the flesh or the ‘acceptable’ standards of society...

That no flesh should glory in his presence. But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption (1 Corinthians 1:29-30)...

A Solution Is Always Nearby

God Always Knows What To Do

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). The Bible tells us in Ephesians 1:3 that God has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. Forgiveness is one of these blessings that we've been given in Christ Jesus. God already made forgiveness available to you; what He wants you to do is to obtain forgiveness when you need it; just receive it. This is different from asking God for forgiveness of sin. You don't need to keep asking for forgiveness over and again for the same offence; receive His forgiveness as an act of your faith...

MEMORISE: But the hour cometh and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. John 4:23-24...

The God Of Restoration

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: God has the capacity to move us from negative challenges to positive surprises.
