Vengeance Unction – A Danger Zone For The Devil

Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war: for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms; And with thee will I break in pieces the horse and his riders; and with thee will I break in pieces the chariot and his rider. – Jeremiah 51:20-21. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: It is not the strength of witches that is your challenge but your weakness.

It is very clear from our anchor Scripture that there is an on-going war. There is a war whether you like it or not. There is a war whether or not you are interested in fighting. But the beautiful thing is that you are God’s weapon to fight this battle. In other words, you are the artillery, general-purpose machine gun, rocket-propelled grenade, intercontinental ballistic missile, armoured tank and jet bomber of God in this battle. So, the point is that you are not just a person, but a weapon. You are God’s fierce battle-axe and weapon of war. As a weapon of God designed and created to fight and win battles, you need Unction to fight effectively because it takes Unction to win battles.

The Unction was the secret behind the exploits of Paul the Apostle. In his days, anywhere he stepped in, demons packed out. No wonder, people saw Paul and Silas as men who turned the world upside down (Acts 17:6). The same Unction compelled Simon the sorcerer to surrender when Philip arrived in Samaria. (Acts 8:13) As he watched the miracles and signs, he had no option but to believe and be baptized by Philip.

When Moses returned to Egypt, both Pharaoh and Egypt had not changed but something in Moses had changed – the Unction. He went back to Egypt as a flaming fire and war equipment at the frequency of the Unction. He went to bury the institution that manhandled his generation. He went to sink their destiny.

Today, some Christians and even ministers of the Gospel no longer constitute any threat to the kingdom of darkness. Many don’t know that demons don’t respond to title but to mantle (Unction). The kingdom of darkness does not respect you based on the cost or quality of your suit, but on the weight of the Unction you carry. This is why we need to stop celebrating vanity and begin to embrace reality. It is time for us to rise and begin to examine ourselves in the light of the Unction we carry.

Beloved, it is not the strength of witches that is your challenge but your weakness spiritually. You need to rise up with a cry in your heart and say ‘I am not just a person, I am a weapon and as a weapon, I deploy myself in the hands of God against every force of darkness’. God shall use you to silence His enemies, in Jesus’ Name.

ASSIGNMENT (S): 1. Rise up with a vengeance mantle and bury every force that has hindered you from attaining God’s agenda for your life by intensive prayer and declarations.

PRAYER: Lord, I deploy myself in Your Hands against every force of darkness, in Jesus Name.
