The Effects Of Holy Ghost Power

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. –Acts 10:38. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: It is not possible to connect force and not connect change.

The Holy Ghost, who is the Presence of God with a man, is the most powerful personality and force on the face of the earth. In the Book of Acts chapter one and in verse eight, the Bible says, ‘And you shall receive power when the Holy Ghost is come upon me and ye shall be my witness in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria and unto the uttermost part of the earth’. Also, in the Book of Isaiah chapter ten and in verse twenty-seven, the Bible says, ‘And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.’

What then are the effects of the power of the Holy Ghost on the life of a Child of God?

Holy Ghost Power or the Anointing enforces change: It is not possible for God to be in a place and nothing changes. It is not possible for God to be present and change is absent. Peter with the other disciples toiled all night and caught nothing, but when Jesus stepped in, the situation changed – a fruitless toil became a fruitful one. The Presence of God (The Holy Ghost) is, therefore, the trigger for change.

Speed or Acceleration: Another effect of the power of the Holy Ghost is that acceleration is facilitated by the Anointing or the Presence of God. For instance, for thirty years, Jesus had no recorded exploit, but when the Anointing came upon Him, He ‘went’ about doing good (Acts 10:38). The Anointing cannot come on you and you don’t move. It is also called a force for a change of position. When the Anointing comes on the single, they move and get married. When the Anointing comes on the married woman, she goes and brings forth children. When the Anointing comes on the unemployed, they move and get jobs. When the Anointing comes upon the already anointed, they move into higher realms of manifestation and power.

Beloved, it is not possible to connect force and not connect change because the Anointing is a force for change. Today, your position is changing; you are changing level in Jesus’ Name.

ASSIGNMENT (S): 1. Identify every agent of stagnation in your life and deal with it.
2. Seek to be filled with the Person, Power and Presence of the Holy Spirit for acceleration in life.

PRAYER: Overwhelm me O Lord, with Your Anointing and power, in Jesus’ Name.
