The Passover Meal

And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the Lord's Passover. – Exodus 12:11. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The Passover Meal is the instant deliverance from death and plague.
The Passover is a feast that commemorates Israel’s deliverance from Egypt. According to our anchor Scripture, the Passover was taken with a meal. The Passover meal in the Old Testament is a typology of the communion bread and wine in the New Testament. When Israel took the Passover meal, it was their instant deliverance from death and plague. People were dying everywhere but those who took the Passover meal were not permitted to die. The blood made the plague of diseases and death to pass over.
How then does this Passover concern us today?
In the New Testament, the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 5:7 that Christ is our Passover Lamb. So, anytime we take His Body and His Blood through the Holy Communion, we are partaking in the same kind of Passover that the children of Israel partook of in the Old Testament. As the blood of the Passover lamb made the plagues to pass over the children of Israel, the Blood of our new Passover Lamb, Jesus Christ, will make every arrow of the devil to pass over your life. Whenever you take the Communion Bread and Wine, which is the Passover meal, every evil arrow or strange bullet of witches and wizards or from the kingdom of darkness will pass over you; occultic manipulations, organ diseases, viruses, bacteria, failure, poverty, etc., will pass over you.
Furthermore, through the Passover meal of Communion Bread and Wine, the life of Jesus steps into your blood, (John 6:53-55). And the Divine Blood (the Blood of Jesus) will look for any virus, disease, or bacterium in your body and swallow them up alive. Imagine taking the Communion every morning! For many years, every single day, my wife serves the children the communion by 5am. Beloved, as you take the Communion Bread and Wine, every arrow sent for you will bounce back to sender in the Name of Jesus.

ASSIGNMENT(S): 1. Make up your mind to take the communion bread and wine regularly
2. Abstain from every filthiness
PRAYER: O LORD, open my eyes to see the mysteries of the communion bread and wine in Jesus’ Name.
