Facilitators Of Authority And Influence

‘Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.’ – Matthew 5:14. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: When your Word comes, your world changes.

Authority is the right to command. It is the right or power to enforce rules or give orders. Influence on the other hand is the power and special privileges that come from wealth, social status or position. Authority brings influence. God’s plan is for His children to be in positions of authority so they can have great influence in the world to the glory of His Name (Genesis 1:26). He created us to dominate in the realm where we belong. That is, to be in control of every sphere of life and represent Divine authority and influence on earth. In order to do this, we need to understand what facilitates authority in order to be in authority and influence people positively for God. What then is a facilitator?
A facilitator is somebody or something that enables a process to happen or to take place. There are factors that facilitate authority and influence. These are what we need to do in order for us to be in the place of authority and spiritual stardom. Facilitators are like amplifiers. It is possible to speak with your bare voice and still be heard, but when you carry a microphone, your voice is enhanced or amplified; the output of your voice is facilitated with the help of an amplifier. Then what factor facilitates authority, influence and spiritual stardom?
Revelation: Revelation is one major facilitator or amplifier of authority and influence. Another word for revelation is insight or light. Our anchor scripture reveals that you are the light of the world; you are the city set on a hill that cannot be hidden. So, to be the light of the world, you need light in your life. You cannot be the light of the world without carrying light inside of you. There is nobody that can make a difference without light (revelation).
Looking at the life of Joseph, the Bible says in Psalms 105:17-22,‘He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant: Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron: Until the time that his word came: the word of the Lord tried him. The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free. He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance: To bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his senators wisdom.’ Beloved, the revelation of the Word of God is the secret of liberation and transformation. The Word broke the captivity of Joseph and positioned him in authority and influence. That is, when your word comes, your world changes. There is something you will know out of the Bible that will change your life and move you to the next level. You might have done everything you could; you have prayed and fasted, yet no results, but when God opens your eyes to receive a light, insight or revelation from His Word, your life will change. That was what made a prisoner like Joseph to become a Governor in ancient Egypt. Beloved, your word is coming today and your life will change positively forever in the Name of Jesus Christ.
