Sexual purity is not freedom from sexual urges but it is freedom from the
tendencies to commit the sin. Continue...
Romans 8:13 says, "If you live after the flesh, you shall die
(spiritual death) but if you through the Spirit, mortify the deeds of the body,
you shall live."
If we will live in sexual purity, we must position ourselves where the
grace of God can reach us.
Romans 6:1 says, "Shall we continue in sin, so that grace may abound? God forbid"
To receive heart purity from God, we must take away anything that displeases
God from our lives. These may include any sexually explicit materials- romantic
novels, sex magazines, pornographic pictures and movies.
For some, you will have to give up some of your relationships with the
opposite sex or with friends who speak vulgar speeches or live questionable or
immoral lives, etc.
After you have removed everything defiling, then you can pray to God for
heart cleansing and heart purity.
Oh! Friend, you need to experience the blessedness of possessing a pure
heart.
Pray! Believe! And live it.
