Your weapon against the enemy of your faith is the attitude of perseverance, tenacity, no quitting and no giving up. It is the refusal to accept defeat; it is having a staying power. Don’t give up, give way, give in or give out. Beloved, God is looking for that ruggedness and will confirm your faith with results. You could be the only one trying to give up on yourself, because God has not given up on you.

Another weapon against the enemy of your faith is the heart of obedience. There is something the devil cannot stand and that is a man whose life is in obedience to God. And when you are in obedience to God and you tell the devil to get out, he will get out because when God said to you ‘Come here,’ you came. When God said, ‘Obey and serve me,’ you obeyed. When God said, ‘Bring all your tithes into the storehouse and prove me’, you obeyed. When the traffic warden says, ‘Stop’ and you move, it’s a seed of disobedience. As a result, when you tell the devil ‘stop,’ he will say, ‘I will do to you what you did to the traffic warden.’ When you go late to work and write the wrong date and time, when you tell the devil, ‘Get out’, he will say, ‘I am coming’. There are many people who don’t know what is working against them, meanwhile they are the ones working against themselves. When God says, ‘Present your bodies a living sacrifice, and serve me’, obey Him.

ASSIGNMENT (S):

1. Practice obedience by faithfully paying your tithe, giving your offerings and giving to the less privileged.
2. As from today, stop giving up on yourself, continue to persevere.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive a baptism of ruggedness against the devil, in Jesus’ Name.
