And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of
Galilee , named Nazareth
THOUGHT
FOR THE DAY: ‘God with a person’ makes a difference and
constitutes an extra-ordinary life.
The purposes of God are communicated in the Presence of God. In order for
a person to know what God wants to do, such a person must be close to God. When
a person is a stranger to the Presence of God, he or she can never have access
to the purpose of God. When somebody does not have time for the Presence of
God, such a person will never be able to fulfil the purpose of God for his
life. The Angel told Mary, ‘The Lord is with you.’ There are many people who go
to Church and claim that they are with God, but God is the one who determines
who is really with Him. Mary was meant to give birth to Emmanuel which means
‘God with us’ (Matthew1:23). For a person to give birth to ‘God with us,’
God must be with that person because anything that is not your experience
cannot be your expression. What you have not discovered, you cannot deliver.
You can’t take anybody where you haven’t been.
Before Mary could release ‘God with us,’ she needed to have God with her.
In order for you to become a candidate that God will use to touch your
generation, you must be a person that carries the Presence of God. ‘God with a
person’ makes a difference and constitutes an extra-ordinary life. You are not
an ordinary civil servant, student, businessman or housewife, if God is with
you. When God is with a person, it is impossible for that person to live a
useless, wasted or ‘impactless’ life.
Remember this: ‘God with a person’ makes a difference and constitutes an
extra-ordinary life.
ASSIGNMENT

sure that you are always in the Presence of God.
- Surround yourself with Godly people.

want to be where You are. Draw me near to You oh Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
