Know What Is Written

In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. John 1:4-5

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Nothing disarms darkness like light. Continue...

Your weapon against the enemy in the fight of faith is the revelation of the Word of God. Nothing disarms darkness like light. When you carry light, you don’t need to pray about darkness. When you carry light, you don’t need to shout on darkness.

Word equals light and light handles darkness. It may be the darkness of witchcraft attack, the darkness of HIV diagnosis, stagnation, failure, bondage of sin etc., but the Bible says, ‘And the light shineth in darkness, and the darkness comprehended it not’ (John 1:5). Light is the answer to reproach because light brings glory. Light is the answer to shame and disgrace. No devil can ground the man who is lighted. To be lighted is to rise. Light can bring you out of any situation you may find yourself.

‘Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you’ (Isa. 60:1). The fight of faith is a fight between what is happening and what is written, but anytime you find what is written, what is happening bows. When you know what is written, you can never be written off; you will become a written epistle. When you know what is written, the devil becomes a write-off in your life. Know what is written, before it is time to quote it.
