Generational Greatness Through Covenant

His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.  Ps. 112:2

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Your children cannot know poverty, suffering and nightmares if you do the right thing with God. Continue...

The blessings of God bring generational greatness. If you are in covenant with God, you are not permitted to give birth to wicked children or nonentities. Even if you have a child that is trying to ‘miss road’ (become wayward), just keep on maintaining your covenant with God. That covenant will bail out that child. What you are doing with God now will reflect on your children tomorrow. Some people are where they are because of the transactions of their fathers with the devil, especially in Africa. Their forefathers offered too much sacrifice to so many altars, and before they were born, they were already implicated. But thank God for Calvary, which has set you free from that satanic implication.

There are generational curses, but there are also generational blessings. From your own generation forward, your children cannot know poverty, suffering and nightmares, if you do the right things with God. There was a woman that was bent for eighteen years in the Bible in Luke 13:11, and Jesus was asked if He would heal her on the Sabbath day. Jesus said that even if He had no reason to heal her on the Sabbath day, because she was a daughter of Abraham His covenant partner; He couldn’t look at Abraham’s daughter and look away, He must intervene. God is about to do something for your children and your generation because of you. Beloved, anything it will cost you to walk with God, do it. As you do so, you and your generation will never regret in life in Jesus' Name.

Remember this: your children cannot know poverty, suffering and nightmares if you do the right thing with God.

ASSIGNMENT (S):
  1. Get the message and listen to it again.
  2. Make every effort to continually walk with God.
PRAYER: Lord, help me to continually draw near to You, in Jesus’ Name.
