Hidden Treasures

(For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;) Romans 9:11.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Whenever you neglect your potential, you abort your purpose. Continue...

God desires that His children discover their potentials. As you discover your purpose, note that the area of your wisdom is the area of your impact. Anywhere you have wisdom, there you have impact. What you know how to do is what you were created to do on earth. David was a worshipper. He excelled and perfected playing the instrument until that skill took him to the palace. Solomon was full of wisdom and by virtue of his wisdom, the whole world came to him. Joseph was a dreamer, dream interpreter and administrator. The potential was inside him and he used it to fulfil his destiny. Whenever you neglect your potential, you abort your purpose. Therefore, look within yourself for the things that God has endowed you with. If you abort them, you abort your destiny.

Also, your gift was given for the profit of your generation. Your gift is key to the gain of your world and yourself. Joseph used his gift, it lifted him and also profited his whole generation. Egypt could not die of hunger because of the gift of Joseph. David used his gift as a lion killer (fighter or warrior) to benefit the whole of Israel by pulling down Goliath and that gift also gave him a lift. Beloved, understand that the gift inside you is key to the gain of your generation.

Remember this: whenever you neglect your potential, you abort your purpose.

ASSIGNMENT:
  1. Sharpen the gifts that God has given you by putting it to use for the benefit of both humanity and eternity.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to release my potential, in Jesus’ Name.
