God Always Knows What To Do

And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, there is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed. 2 Kings 4:6

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: God never turns down the cries of the desperate...

From our anchor Scripture, we can see the pathetic story of a woman (a wife of one of the sons of the prophet) who was left with a debt owed by her husband, after his death. The man was probably not a covenant practitioner and after he died, the creditors came to take his children. He may have used the children as collaterals, hence the creditors came to carry them. This made the wife (his widow) to cry out to the man of God (Elisha) and solution was provided.

There are several things to note from this story, and they are:
1. God never turns down the cries of the desperate. He never turns down the cries of righteous people who are desperate. Beloved, you may have been crying unto God over certain situations in your life; get ready because the answer has come.
2. God always knows what to do. You may not know what to do in certain situations, but God always knows what to do. For instance, the enemy was going to take the woman’s (the prophet’s wife’s) children as bondmen but God knew what to do. He did what He knew how to do and the children were restored. You may be in the midst of confusion and frustration, but I prophesy to you that revelation, direction, instruction and inspiration are coming to you in Jesus’ Name. Beloved, remember that what happened to the children was not their fault. Their father had a transaction they were not aware of and that transaction was about to affect their destiny. I don’t know the transaction of your forefathers, neither do I know the ancestral, generational, and family transactions that may have happened even before you were born that may be trying to arrest your destiny, but by the apostolic and prophetic mantle on my life, I declare that such a transaction is neutralised and cancelled, in Jesus’ Name.

ASSIGNMENT (S):
1. Boldly declare your freedom from every transaction of your forefathers and believe in the finished work of Jesus on the cross of Calvary.

PRAYER: Lord, the liabilities of my fathers and forefathers cannot affect my destiny. I receive my freedom today by the oil of restoration, in Jesus’ Name.
