A religious leader recently claimed that gay people are destined to ‘die
out’ because they can’t reproduce naturally.
The comments were made by Televangelist Pat Robertson on his programme
the 700 Club, which airs on the Christian Broadcasting Network which he also

After a viewer emailed in complaining about how her church said it was a
sin to date, Robertson responded and
said:
‘Those who are homosexual will die out, because they don’t reproduce,
you know?’ the 84-year-old said.
He then somehow links this claim to suggesting the viewer
leaves her church so she can meet a man and start a family.
