Be Made By Wisdom

So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. Ps. 90:12

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Wisdom is behind the making of people of substance.

Wisdom is the secret of discipline. A disciplined life is a product of wisdom, and discipline is the foundation for distinction. To be wise is to be disciplined, and to be disciplined is to be distinguished. Psalms 90:12 says, ‘So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.’ Continue...

The absence of wisdom makes people dwell carelessly and live in indiscipline, and the outcome is disaster. A person without discipline is an undisciplined person. An employee without discipline is an undisciplined employee. A boss in an office without discipline is a careless boss in that office because wisdom is the secret of discipline, and discipline is the secret of distinction. When you see a child of God without wisdom, he will dwell carelessly without discipline. That carelessness could make him spend eternity in hell.

Wisdom is behind the making of people of substance. People that matter in time and in eternity, and useful in the Hands of God (that are voices for God and their generation) are made by wisdom. The Bible made it clear in 1 Kings 10:23-24 that, ‘…king Solomon exceeded all the kings of the earth for riches and for wisdom. And all the earth sought to Solomon, to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart.’ If you desire the kind of destiny that Solomon had, or the kind of outcome that Joseph had, or the kind of life that Daniel lived in time and in eternity, wisdom will give it to you.

ASSIGNMENT (S):

Do everything possible to get wisdom from the Word of God.
Apply the wisdom you have received from the Word of God into your life daily.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive grace to apply wisdom in my decisions and actions, in Jesus’ Name.

QUOTE: Wisdom makes a person to stand out in life. Culled from WISDOM: LIFE’S GREATEST NECESSITY by Dr Paul Enenche.
