Aisha blasts Buhari over ‘I felt like absconding’ statement

One of the leaders of the Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG) group, Aisha Yesufu, has slammed President Muhammadu Buhari for his statement that he thought of absconding when he became president.

Buhari had on Thursday, November 3, said he almost abandoned Nigeria when he assumed office on May 29, 2015 due to the many problems passed to him by the past administration.

But in response to Buhari’s statement, Aisha Yesufu via her twitter handle @AishaYesufu, said absconding would have been the best thing Buhari would have done for Nigeria.
