Thursday Rhapsody Of Realities - Remember Who You Are!

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9 AMP).

There’re some very inspiring thoughts to notice in our opening verse that describe your nature and calling in Christ Jesus. God created you to manifest His beauty, holiness, grace, glory, and excellence. You’ve been chosen to set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light. This is your life! You’re excellent; you’re royalty.
The phrase “royal priesthood” isn’t just talking about a kingdom of priests, but “king-priests” in the order of Melchizedek. This is who you are in Christ. You’re a king; walk and talk as one! When you dress, dress with the consciousness that you’re a king. In everything you do, always remember who you are. You’re called to exude excellence.
James said, “Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures” (James 1:18). You’re the crowning beauty, and the highest of everything God made. You’re the one in whom God would fully express Himself; that’s why He created you—to express Himself in His fullness, through you. Halleluiah!

CONFESSION: I’m a king-priest! I live up to my calling! I’m “kinging” in life, displaying the virtues and perfections of Christ! I exude excellence in all aspects of my life, fruitful and productive in all things by the Holy Ghost. Glory to God!

FURTHER STUDY: Revelation 5:9-10 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; 10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
Matthew 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
Ephesians 2:10 AMP For we are God's [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].
