Pres. Jonathan has been removed from “World’s Richest Presidents” List




Following President Goodluck Jonathan’s response to sue richestlifestyle.com for including his name in their “9 Richest African Presidents and Kings of 2014,” list, the website has deleted the Nigerian President from the list.

Jonathan was allegedly ranked number 6 on the initial list released on with a net worth of $100 million.

The initial ranking of the leaders, as listed on the site:

9. Robert Mugabe (Zimbabwe) – Net Worth: $10 Million
8. Idriss Deby (Chad) – Net Worth: $50 Million
6. King Mswati III (Swaziland) – Net Worth: $100 Million (a tie with Goodluck Jonathan)
5. Paul Biya (Cameroon) – Net Worth: $200 Million
4. Uhuru Kenyatta (Kenya) – Net Worth: $500 Million
3. Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo (Equatorial Guinea) – $600 Million
2. King Mohammed VI (Morocco) – Net Worth: $2.5 Billion
1. Jose Eduardo dos Santos (Angola) – Net Worth: $20 Billion

But now, Jonathan's name has been taken off the list.
