Saturday Rhapsody Of Realities - Let Christ Stand Up In You

To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27).
The real essence of Christianity is Christ in you, manifesting and expressing Himself in, and through, you. The Christian is one who expresses, exudes, and demonstrates the life, nature, character, and righteousness of Christ. Thus, in appraising your spiritual growth, one of the things you check is how much your life depicts the righteousness or character of Christ.
For example, in times of provocations, when you’re offended, who stands up in you? You ought to let Christ stand up in you. Remember, as a new creation in Christ, you don’t have two natures; you have only one: the Christ-nature. Your recreated human spirit is made in the image and likeness of Christ. Therefore, in all that you do, and at all times, refuse to yield to the flesh; rather, respond from your Christ-nature, with the fruit of the recreated spirit.
When you talk, let Christ be heard. Let His love emit and effuse from your words and actions. Let His wisdom and righteousness overwhelm the hearts of your hearers as you speak only gracious and lifting words; let Him talk through you. Let Him see through your eyes. Let Him work with your hands.
Violent people allow the beast to take over their lives. Never let the devil show up in you. Be like Jesus who said, “...for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me” (John 14:30). Remember: Satan has nothing in you; but Christ in you, the hope of glory.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, thank you for blessing me and filling me with your love, righteousness, and indeed, with Yourself. I’m gentle, patient, peaceful, loving, and kind. Your wisdom, grace, and glory are seen and heard in me. I express your beauty and love always. Christ is in me, and as He is, so am I in this world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
