But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you:
and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem ,
and in all Judaea, and in Samaria ,
and unto the uttermost part of the earth (Acts 1:8).
The Lord Jesus said you shall receive power after the Holy Ghost has come
on you (Acts 1:8). He’s in you now that you’re born again, which means His
power is in you. However, if you want to see the release of the power of God in
your life, the first thing you must learn to do is declare God’s Word boldly
and in faith. The Word of God is God; His Word is where the glory is.
Therefore, as you meditate on the Word and speak it forth, you create an
atmosphere for the miraculous in, and around you.
Another sure and quick way to activate and energize your spirit for the
power in you to be effective is speaking or praying in tongues. When you pray
in tongues, your spirit is stirred; the power of God wells up like currents
from your spirit. That power works on your mind such that you’re transported to
the higher realms of the supernatural.
1 Corinthians 14:4 says the one who speaks in tongues edifies himself; he
charges up himself like a battery. When a car battery is left inactive for a
while, you’d need to charge it again to restore it to an effective state. In
the same way, the power of God in your spirit can be dormant and inactive
except you “charge up” your spirit and get it perpetually active by speaking in
tongues.
Speaking in tongues works in conjunction with the Word to build your
spirit and activate the power of God in you for the life of success and
dominion.
PRAYER: Dear Father, I thank you for your glory is manifested in my life
today, as I meditate on the Word, and speak in other tongues. My life is a
testimony of your immeasurable grace and righteousness. Your power in me is
activated, causing me to walk in your glory and wisdom to fulfil your good
pleasure, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
