Theresa May appoints Hammond as chancellor

                          
Theresa May has made Philip Hammond her chancellor after being appointed as the UK's new prime minister.
Former chancellor George Osborne has resigned from the government, with further appointments to be announced this evening, Downing Street said.
Mrs May is announcing her ministerial team after being officially appointed as PM by the queen.
Former London mayor Boris Johnson has also been seen going into Downing Street.
Mr Hammond was foreign secretary in David Cameron's government.
