Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name
under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
There may be many that are called gods, but there’s only one God, and one
mediator between God and men—the man, Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5). He’s the
only One who reconciles men to God; the only One who bridges the gap, and makes
friendship and peace between God and man. This should be your conviction, and
enough motivation to preach the Gospel.
Romans 5:1-2 says, “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace
with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith
into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.” Man
had no hope until Jesus came. Man had been separated from God, and from His
glory; there was no way for him to be reconciled. That’s the reason for all the
religions of the world; they’re seeking a way to come back to God. But Christ
is the answer. He made it possible for us to receive the God-life, ushering us
into God’s presence.
As a Christian, you must be absolutely convinced that there’s no
salvation in any other but Jesus. Be convinced that He’s the answer, the water
of life to quench man’s thirst forever. He’s the only hope for the world. Man
is doomed without Jesus; so let’s not act or pretend as though there’re alternatives.
Jesus is the way—the ONLY way.
PRAYER: Dear Father, I thank you for your grace that’s manifested to
save, heal, deliver, uplift and prosper all those who embrace the Gospel of
Christ’s saving power today, as it’s preached around the world. Through renewed
efforts, I’m committed to world evangelization, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
FURTHER STUDY: John 14:5-6 - “No, we don’t know, Lord,” Thomas
said. “We have no idea where you are going, so how can we know the way?” 6 Jesus
told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the
Father except through me.
Romans 5:1-2 - Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s
sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our
Lord has done for us. 2 Because of our faith,
Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now
stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.
Philippians 2:9-11 - Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
