Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except
a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God (John 3:3).
God sent Jesus to establish the Kingdom of Heaven .
The Kingdom of Heaven
is that part of the Kingdom
of God headed by Jesus
Christ, established in the earth through the Gospel. You become a part of that
Kingdom when you receive Jesus as your Lord, to be born again. When you’re born
again, you start “seeing” differently. You see what others don’t see. You hear
what others don’t hear. You know what others don’t know, and yet you may be
physically in the same earthly location as they.
Remember, when God spoke to Jesus on the Cross, the people said it
thundered. Some said, “An angel spoke to Him.” They didn’t understand, and yet
we were given the meaning of the words.
So, really, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God ”; he can’t hear or know it. But when
you’re born again, you have insight into divine mysteries and secrets. When you
read the Bible, you can understand it, because the Spirit of God in you unveils
the Word to you. He makes the mysteries of the Kingdom clear to you, for it is
written,“…it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven…”
(Matthew 13:11).
PRAYER: Dear Father, I thank you for bringing me into the Kingdom of your
dear Son, according to your own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and
renewing of the Holy Spirit. I’m grateful for your Kingdom, which is in my
heart, and for the Holy Spirit in me who unveils the mysteries of the Kingdom
to me, with the ability to appropriate spiritual realities, in Jesus’ Name.
Amen.
Further Study: Ezekiel 11:19-20 And I will give them one heart, and
I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of
their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: 20 That they may walk in my
statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people,
and I will be their God.
Luke 17:20-21 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom
of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not
with observation: 21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for,
behold, the kingdom
of God is within you.
