APC chieftain attacks President Buhari

Hussaini Mairiga, a factional chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano state, has attacked President Muhammadu Buhari. Mairiga defined the president as total failure saying that “from the looks of things President Buhari has betrayed the confidence of the Nigerian masses who voted for him massively into power.”
The chieftain further stated that it was not an hyperbole that members of many families in Nigeria go to bed without at least one square meal while others had left their homes because they could no longer provide the basic needs of life for their loved ones. He expressed concern that after one year of the Buhari government in power, there was nothing to show while poverty in the country had reached an unexampled level.
Mr Mairiga stated that prices of goods were increasing at a time the ordinary man did not have money to make a living. According to him, another distressing scenario was that those around President Buhari, comprising his ministers, had denied to tell him the truth and advice on the reality on ground.
He recalled the Nigerian leader his campaign promises, noting that he did not like the way the masses were allowed to move in poverty and indigence. The chairman added that Nigerians were in the worst condition that needed immediate attention.

Mohammed Mairiga advised Buhari to stop deceiving Nigerians that the nation had no money whereas on monthly basis the federal and states governments continued to enjoy boost in their allocations.

The administration of President Buhari has been marked with ups and downs and may Nigerians have expressed disappointment in the way things are going.
