To open
their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of
Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance
among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me (Acts 26:18).
Therefore,
in praying for people in your environment, in your family, or in the regions
beyond who are yet to know the Lord, intercede that their eyes be open to see!
The power to open their eyes is the Gospel of Jesus Christ, communicated by the
power of the Holy Spirit.
When they
come to Christ, He opens their eyes; but that’s only the beginning; He
continues to enlarge their vision of the kingdom through the Word. As they
study the Word, hear, and learn more about Him, He further enlightens the eyes
of their understanding, to know and walk in their heritage and inheritance in
Christ.
Keep
preaching the Gospel; there’s no salvation without the Gospel; the power of
salvation is in the Gospel, and it works only for the person who believes; and
that’s where you come in. The Bible says, “…how shall they believe in Him of
whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?” (Romans
10:14). Do you see why you should have a burning heart to share the Gospel?
You’re God’s agent of salvation, ordained to turn sinners from darkness to
light, and from the power of Satan unto God. Praise God!
PRAYER: Dear
Father, I thank you for the power of the Gospel of Christ that grants me
insight and foresight into the realities of the Kingdom. I walk in preordained
pathways, conscious of my calling as a minister of reconciliation. I pray that
today, the eyes of many around the world, who are in darkness will be open to
the light of the Gospel, and they be turned from darkness to light, and into
the glorious liberty of the sons of God, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Further
Study: Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is
the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first,
and also to the Greek.
Acts 20:32
AMP And now [brethren], I commit you to God [I deposit you in His charge,
entrusting you to His protection and care]. And I commend you to the Word of
His grace [to the commands and counsels and promises of His unmerited favor].
It is able to build you up and to give you [your rightful] inheritance among
all God’s set-apart ones (those consecrated, purified, and transformed of
soul).
