Thursday Open Heavens Devotional - God's War Instrument

MEMORISE: Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war: for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms: JEREMIAH 51:20.

Thursday Rhapsody Of Realities - Praise Him...No Matter What!

Therefore will I give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and sing praises unto thy name (Psalm 18:49).
Always, it’s important that we learn to thank the Lord for all the wonderful things we experience, and also for those things we may not really consider to be very nice. Some people are only joyful and thankful to the Lord when things seem to be going on fine, but gripe in the face of adversity. It ought not to be so. Irrespective and independent of the situation or your immediate circumstances, you should always give thanks to the Father. Worship and praise Him, no matter what! I’ll tell you a story.

Wednesday Open Heavens Devotional - Yield To God!

MEMORISE: Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. Romans 6:13.

Wednesday Rhapsody Of Realities - Present Your Requests With Thanksgiving!

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication WITH THANKSGIVING let your requests be made known unto God (Philippians 4:6).
There’re times people pray and make incessant supplications about certain things; maybe about their job, finances, family or health, or something that deeply bothers them, and it seems things aren’t changing. The missing link could be that they’re not presenting their requests and supplications with “thanksgiving.”

Tuesday Open Heavens Devotional - Effective Tracking Device

MEMORISE: Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: Matthew 7:7.

Tuesday Rhapsody Of Realities - Position Yourself For More

Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting (Matthew 17:21).
As learnt in our previous study, fasting helps us to get our spirits attuned to God. It doesn’t get God to listen to us; it gets us to listen to Him.

Monday Rhapsody Of Realities - Raise Your Spiritual Antenna

As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them (Acts 13:2).
In a matter of days, it’ll be 2016. And it’s important we prepare ourselves, and are rightly positioned by the Spirit, for the glories and victories He’s planned for us in the coming year. One of the ways to do this is by fasting and praying; spending time to pray in the spirit, studying and meditating on the Word, and attending diligently to the visions, promptings, ideas and thoughts from the Spirit of God.

Monday Open Heavens Devotional - The Exclusive Door

Sunday Rhapsody Of Realities - Commit Your Work To Him

Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established (Proverbs 16:3).
Alot of times, people set goals and make different decisions in their lives, it could be about their finances, their family, their job or business; but as important as it is to set goals, don’t set goals out of emotions. Set goals through the Spirit. This is where many miss it.

For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men (1 Corinthians 3:3).

PM's Christmas Message: Britain Is Christian

In his most religious message yet, David Cameron uses his Christmas address to say Britain's Christianity is key to its success.
David Cameron has used his Christmas message to stress that Britain is a "Christian country".
The Prime Minister also highlighted the suffering of Syrian refugees and praised the "brave Armed Forces doing their duty" in Syria and Iraq in his traditional address to the nation.
In his most religious message to date, he said: "That is what we mark today as we celebrate the birth of God's only son, Jesus Christ - the Prince of Peace.
"As a Christian country, we must remember what his birth represents: peace, mercy, goodwill and, above all, hope.
"I believe that we should also reflect on the fact that it is because of these important religious roots and Christian values that Britain has been such a successful home to people of all faiths and none."

Wednesday Open Heavens Devotional - Check Your Desires!

MEMORISE: And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul. Psalm 106:15.

Wednesday Rhapsody Of Realities - You Can Hear From Him Every Day

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness…(2 Timothy 3:16-17).
Many people have problems in their lives because they don’t listen to the Holy Spirit; they ignore His counsel. They make important decisions, without ever consulting with the Spirit. Some are in a quagmire; but if they’d be yielded to the Spirit, all the misery in their lives will be gone. God is interested in you being successful in every area of your life. He cares about the minutest detail of your life. It’s therefore important that you seek His counsel in all things.

Tuesday Rhapsody Of Realities - Justified By His Resurrection!

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 5:1).
When the Bible says, “Therefore being justified by faith...,” it’s talking about being declared righteous by faith! We’ve been acquitted! Some people think we were justified because Jesus took the punishment. But that’ll mean that the accusation stayed. We weren’t justified because He took our sins. We were acquitted because all the allegations against us failed, for we’re a new creation.

Should Buildings Be A Priority For The Church?

Millions of people will attend church services this Christmas - over five million in England and Wales alone for the main denominations. But what about the rest of the year?
Can the Church of England sustain its almost 16,000 church buildings in the face of declining and ageing congregations, especially in rural areas?
Consultations within the Church of England are continuing over the fate of its buildings, many of which are listed.

Monday Rhapsody Of Realities - Live From Your Spirit

For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH (Romans 1:17).
When the Bible says the just shall live by faith, it’s talking about living from your spirit. Faith is the response of the human spirit to the Word of God. To live by faith, therefore, means to live from your spirit in response to God. That means, living on, and by, the Word of God. Matthew 4:4 says, “…It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”

Monday Open Heavens Devotional - Not Ordinary Hands

MEMORISE: I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting. 1 TIMOTHY 2:8.

Sunday Rhapsody Of Realities - Speak God's Language!

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth…(1 Corinthians 2:12-13).

Saturday Rhapsody Of Realities - The Heavenly Voice

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night (Psalm 1:1-2).

And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life (Matthew 19:29).
There’s something about those who are passionate about the Gospel; their life is full of glory. When you’re burning for the Lord, Satan may try to unleash terror against you from all sides, but you’ll always remain invincible, because the Lord Himself is your defence and shield.

Thursday Rhapsody Of Realities - Prepare For His Soon Return!

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).
