Welcome To Church

Why am I here on earth? What am I worth? Do I have any intrinsic value? Do I serve a purpose?
These are all fundamental questions. They are life's "big questions."
How you answer these questions will determine how you see the world and your perception about life. So many people are looking for answers to these questions and do not find satisfaction in what they do. Many are confused and only follow the status quo while only very few are living purposeful lives. Have you ever wondered why some people try to change their sex, lives or just live in hatred towards other people?
Some of the reasons people commit suicide include and is not limited to; feeling a sense of rejection and not feeling loved, feeling hopeless about life, lacking a sense of purpose, psychosis, depression, lack of confidence in oneself, and not knowing why they are here on earth.
Join us tomorrow (Sunday) @ 10am as we explore the fundamental question - Why Are You Here?
Venue - The Emergence of Grace Church, Sachas Hotel, 12 Tib Street, Manchester Piccadilly, M4 1SH. Free entry.

Saturday Open Heavens Devotional - Haunted By Your Past?

MEMORISE: And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. 1st Corinthians 6:11.

Saturday Rhapsody Of Realities - He Has The Best Strategies!

And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed (Exodus 17:11). Many years ago, as we went to remote towns and villages for crusades, the Spirit of God would give us some specific strategies for evangelism as we prayed in preparation. When we followed such instructions, we took over the land. Sometimes, we were led to go to the chiefs and rulers of the towns to minister to them first.

Tories Plan To Kick 30,000 Nurses Out Of Britain

David Cameron’s new immigration laws mean workers recruited from outside the EU since 2011 who earn less than £35,000 a year after six years will have to go home.

Wednesday Rhapsody Of Realities - You Sit On Jesus' Seat!

Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples, Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat: All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not (Matthew 23:1-3).

Wednesday Open Heavens Devotional - Love In Practice

Monday Rhapsody Of Realities - An Inevitable Key For Success

Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men (Proverbs 22:29). The opening verse shows us a key ingredient for a successful and prosperous life—diligence! Some people find themselves in a regrettable state in life due to their inability to apply diligence in their lives, and in the things that God has called them to do.

Happy Father's Day!

Happy father's day to all fathers and intending fathers.

Anyone can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a dad, and that's why I call you dad, because you are so special to me. You taught me the game and you taught me how to play it right. - Wade Boggs

A real man loves his wife, and places his family as the most important thing in life. Nothing has brought me more peace and content in life than simply being a good husband and father. - Frank Abagnale

I want to congratulate all the men out there who are working diligently to be good fathers whether they are stepfathers, or biological fathers or just spiritual fathers. - T. D. Jakes

Being a father has been, without a doubt, my greatest source of achievement, pride and inspiration. Fatherhood has taught me about unconditional love, reinforced the importance of giving back and taught me how to be a better person. - Naveen Jain

Friday Rhapsody Of Realities - Prosperous And Influential

And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise (Galatians 3:29). The Scriptures chronicle for us Bible characters who were very prosperous; men like Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, Solomon, etc. God had beautiful testimonies about these ones.

Tuesday, 16 June 2015

Tuesday Rhapsody Of Realities - Think Fresh, Think Success!

Never lag in zeal and in earnest endeavor; be aglow and burning with the Spirit, serving the Lord (Romans 12:11 AMP).
Part of the reason young people can be very successful, where older people fail, is that many young people don’t know enough to be afraid. Most older people know too much; they have too much information about what doesn’t work. They remember when they tried out something and it failed, and so they became cynical. It’s a lot harder to inspire such people to make a fresh move or have a fresh start.

Tuesday Open Heavens Devotional - What Type Of Vessel Are You?

MEMORISE: But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. 2 Timothy 2:20

Financial Habits Parents should Teach Their Children

The fact is the poor are poor because they have too many Poverty Habits and too few Rich Habits. Poor parents teach their children the Poverty Habits and wealthy parents teach their children the Rich Habits. Parents and our schools need to work together to instill good daily success habits as follows:

Monday Rhapsody Of Realities - He Anoints And Sends Men

There was a man sent from God, whose name was John... (John 1:6-7). There’re people who say that God doesn’t send anybody; He only sends angels; no! Our opening verse says, “There was a man sent from God....” If He sent men in Bible days, He still does today, because He hasn’t changed.

Sunday Rhapsody Of Realities - Empowered To Help Others

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth (3 John 1:2).
If you haven’t made up your mind to enjoy your life, you can make that decision today, because that’s God’s will for you (John 10:10). He wants you to have good health, to be strong, vibrant, prosperous, and influential enough to help others. You have to be in a position of advantage to be able to lift others, and be a blessing.

Thursday Rhapsody Of Realities - Cultured By The Word

And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified (Acts 20:32).
Years ago, there were statements many were fond of making that just didn’t go down well with my spirit. For example, in referring to something that was trending or in vogue, they’d say, “This dress is what’s reigning” or “This brand of car is what’s reigning now.” I couldn’t accept such or permit anyone to say such around me, because nothing, and no one else reigns, but Jesus, and He reigns through me.

Thursday Open Heavens Devotional - Producing Children Of God

Memorise: So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17.
Read: 1st John 3:1-3
1 BEHOLD, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

Wednesday Rhapsody Of Realities - Steer Your Life In God's Direction...With Words

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof (Proverbs 18:21).
Everything God gave us is activated through speech—words. Many, however, don’t understand the power of words. The primary function of your mouth and your tongue is to steer your life in God’s direction for you.

Wednesday Open Heavens Devotional - A Watchman For God II

MEMORISE: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matthew 28:20.

Tuesday Rhapsody Of Realities - Light Gives Meaning

Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid (Matthew 5:14).
As a believer in Christ Jesus, you're the light of the world! Jesus said so. Therefore, you must fulfil your calling as the light of the world. Light gives meaning, describes, and gives direction; it reveals the true nature of things. Until you turn the light on, you wouldn't know what's covered in darkness. You might feel the objects, but their true state or meaning is only revealed when the lights are turned on.

Thursday Rhapsody Of Realities - Our Authority Over Devils

…What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God most high? I beseech thee, torment me not. (For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man… (Luke 8:28-29).
There’re those who seem to have questions about what happened in Luke 8, when Jesus cast the devils out of a certain mad man in Gadara. Jesus had asked the devils to come out, but they didn’t; rather, the man ran to Jesus. Why didn’t the devils come out immediately, rather than the man running to Jesus? Let me explain.

Thursday Open Heavens Devotional - Get Rid Of The Amalekites

Memorise: And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. Matthew 5:29

Wednesday, 3 June 2015

Wednesday Rhapsody Of Realities - Following His Steps

For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps (1 Peter 2:21).
God never told us to follow or make some celebrities our examples, because He already told us in His Word whom to emulate: “THEREFORE BE imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father]” (Ephesians 5:1AMP). So, we’re to copy Jesus and emulate His lifestyle.
