Roger Federer won his sixth Australian Open and 20th Grand Slam title with a five-set victory over Marin Cilic.
The Swiss lost five games in a row as he dropped the fourth set but recovered to win 6-2 6-7 (5-7) 6-3 3-6 6-1.
Federer, 36, becomes only the fourth player after Margaret Court, Serena Williams and Steffi Graf to win 20 or more major singles titles.
"It's a dream come true and the fairytale continues," said Federer, who has won three of the last five majors.

Alexis Sanchez will be eligible to play in the Champions League after completing his transfer to Manchester United. Henrikh Mkhitaryan will also be available to play in the Europa League for Arsenal if the proposed swap deal between the two players is concluded. However, if Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was to also move to Arsenal this window, he would not be available to Arsene Wenger to play in the Europa League.

According to BBC Sports, Manchester United midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has agreed a move to Arsenal, with Gunners forward Alexis Sanchez set to go in the opposite direction.
It is a straight swap with no money involved.
The paperwork was completed on Saturday, and Armenia international Mkhitaryan will have a medical on Sunday and Monday.
The length of Mkhitaryan's Arsenal deal, and his salary, is undisclosed.

False Alarm: Hawaii missile alert!

An incoming missile alert plunged residents of Hawaii into panic on Saturday morning before it was declared a false alarm.
Mobile phone users received a message saying: "Ballistic missile threat inbound to Hawaii. Seek immediate shelter. This is not a drill."
State Governor David Ige apologised and said it was caused by an employee pressing the wrong button.
The US government announced there would be a full investigation.
An alert system is in place because of the potential proximity of Hawaii to North Korean missiles.
In December, the state tested its nuclear warning siren for the first time since the end of the Cold War.
