The Question You MUST Answer!
A four-year-old boy and his family were sitting outdoors
enjoying lemonade and cookies when a bee started buzzing around the table. The
boy was very upset and his mother tried to calm him. “Nathan, that bee is more
afraid of you than you are of him,” she said. “Look how much bigger you are.
Besides, if that bee stings you, his stinger will fall out and he’ll die.” Nathan considered this for a moment and then asked, “Does the
bee know that?”
Learn To Say No!
Most people say “yes” to everything because they don’t want to come across as mean, lazy, boring, or uncaring, but it’s exhausting. The Rescue Plan - Why Did Jesus Come?
In just a few days most of us will be hovering over a
gastronomical feast preparing to eat much more than we should, appropriately
celebrating the generosity of God towards us that is much more than we deserve. Not long after, we will celebrate the most sublime example
of that generosity, the greatest reason for giving such hearty thanks just days
before—God come down. God getting low. God with us. Emmanuel.

The Holy Place & The Holy of Holies!
The word tabernacle means “tent.” In the center of the complex that God designed for the worship of the nation of Israel was a fairly simple looking rectangle tent, or tabernacle, covered with animal skins for protection and waterproofing. It was divided into two rooms: the Holy Place and the Holy of Holies, each with its own furnishings and function, divided by a massive veil.
