Shocking Lessons About Self-Worth!

Your self-worth has nothing to do with your craft or calling, and everything to do with how you treat yourself. - Kris Carr.

Observe the two main lessons below from the experience shared by someone.

Monday Open Heavens Devotional - Prayer Neutralises Fear

MEMORISE : Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. HEBREWS 4 : 16.

Monday Rhapsody Of Realities - Love Is Proved When Tested

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8).
God is love (1 John 4:8); and that refers to practical love; love that’s selfless, liquid, and unfeigned; love that can be seen, felt, and touched. That’s God’s love, and it takes the Holy Spirit to demonstrate the God-kind of love.

Saturday Open Heavens Devotional - When He Beckons To You

Memorise: In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. John 7:37

Saturday Rhapsody Of Realities - Don't Ignore Their Cry

And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness (Colossians 3:14). You must always be willing to help others. You must hear the cry of pain from others, and respond. There’re people who never hear the cry of pain from afar or near. There’s a cry of joy, but there’s also a cry of pain that you hear or see with others, which forces you to respond.

Friday Rhapsody Of Realities - Taught By The Anointing

But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things (1 John 2:20).
As a Christian, if you’ve received the Holy Spirit, there’s an anointing upon your life; there’s an “unction” on you. That word, “unction” is the same as the anointing. 1 John 2:27 says, “But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.” It says the anointing teaches you.

Thursday Rhapsody Of Realities - Constantly Renewed

Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint (Isaiah 40:30-31).

Wednesday Rhapsody Of Realities - A Message Of Hope!

But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole (Luke 8:50).
The Gospel of Jesus Christ is a message of hope; it’s a message that makes the future real to the hearers, and gives them a reason to believe in that future. Some people may think that they have no future; but when they hear the Gospel, hope comes alive in them; and they look forward to a beautiful future. That’s the power of the Gospel.

Monday Rhapsody Of Realities - Execute The Sentence!

Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand; To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD (Psalm 149:5-9).

Sunday Rhapsody Of Realities - The Love Law

But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed (James 1:25).

Saturday Open Heavens Devotional - Recovering Your Health

Memorise: Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean. 2 Kings 5:14

Saturday Rhapsody Of Realities - He's Excited About You

The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing (Zephaniah 3:17).
Did you know that God is excited about you? You need to take some time today to meditate on that. Some people only think of God’s wrath. They believe He’s always mad at them. They’ve been raised to think that God is only concerned about sin, and because there’s so much sin in the world, He’s mad at everybody; no! He’s not that way. God isn’t concerned about sin as many think. He was concerned about sin, and His concern about it made Him send Jesus.

Words From A Mother To Her Daughter About Marriage

A mother gave this advice to her daughter about marriage.

1. The wife that wins all arguments with her husband is not wise. The home is not a law court.
2. The wife that uses sex as a weapon in the home – placing embargo, going to bed in jeans shorts and trousers – lacks wisdom.
3. The wife that uses the modern trends and laws of “women’s rights” to insult or ridicule her husband simply makes a fool of herself.

Friday Rhapsody Of Realities - Working The Word

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart (Hebrews 4:12).

Thursday Rhapsody Of Realities - An Awesome Personality

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you (John 14:26).
The Holy Spirit is the one sent by the Father to go along with you in life’s journey, and His aim is to make you an absolute success in everything. So, getting to know the person of the Holy Spirit, and taking advantage of His ministry in your life is very vital. You can’t enjoy rich and intimate relationship with someone you don’t know. Likewise, until you know the Holy Spirit and understand His ministry and work in your life, you can’t walk with Him.

Wednesday Rhapsody Of Realities - Activating The Power

And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord… (Ephesians 5:18-20).
Activating the power of God and getting yourself stirred in the Holy Ghost is important for every Christian. Acts 1:8 says, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you…” ; meaning that everyone who’s born again and has received the Holy Spirit has received power. Though the power is in you, it may not be active on its own.

Tuesday Open Heavens Devotional - Life More Abundant

Memorise: The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. John 10:10

Tuesday Rhapsody Of Realities - The Administrator Of God's Blessings

The Spirit Himself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together (Romans 8:16-17).

Sunday Rhapsody Of Realities - Beholding Yourself In God's Mirror

And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendour and from one degree of glory to another…(2 Corinthians 3:18 AMP).

Saturday Open Heavens Devotional - Favour Uproots Obstacles

MEMORISE: Thou hast granted me life and favour, and thy visitation hath preserved my spirit. Job 10:12.
READ: Zachariah 4:6-9.

Saturday Rhapsody Of Realities - He's Not Far Away!

Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works (John 14:10).

Thursday Open Heavens Devotional - Plead The Blood

Memorise: And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Revelation 12:11

Thursday Rhapsody Of Realities - Get The Word Into You

The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple (Psalm 119:130).
Notice the instructive words of the psalmist in our opening verse; it lets us know that it's the entrance of God's Word that gives light. This means the Word has to get into your spirit! The Word in you, mingled with your spirit, is what God wants! It'll make you what it talks about, and change your life. When the Word of God gets into you, it brings you light. This means that the man who doesn't have the Word of God in his spirit doesn't have any light, and as a result, walks in darkness.

Wednesday Open Heavens Devotional - Look Beyond The Bus Stop

MEMORISE: For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. Hebrews 12:3.

Wednesday Rhapsody Of Realities - Prepare Your Heart To Receive

Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked (Deuteronomy 10:16).
When the children of Israel were about to cross the Jordan, the Lord spoke to Joshua to tell the people to prepare themselves, because it was going to be a great miracle; it was going to be a different kind from what they had known in the days of Moses. Moses had to stretch forth his hand over the waters of the Red Sea, and God sent a strong wind to split the sea wide open.

Tuesday Rhapsody Of Realities - Don't Despair!

And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest (Ezekiel 37:3).
As you grow spiritually, there could be times of difficulties, when you face serious challenges. But at such times, don’t despair. Don’t loathe yourself or gripe that you’re going through such tough times. Even when everyone seems to be ignoring you and none is offering to help, in spite of all your appeals, refuse to be discouraged.

Monday Rhapsody of Realities - Change Is Possible

Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away (2 Corinthians 3:16).
If you had thought you were now too old to achieve your dreams, and that your time has passed, don't give up. All you need do is to "Seek the LORD and His strength, seek His face continually" (1 Chronicles 16:11).

Thursday Rhapsody Of Realities - Believe In Your Prayers

Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name (Psalm 86:11).
Do you believe in the efficacy of your prayers? Or do you always look for someone to help you pray? The Bible says, “...The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much” (James 5:16). He’s telling you that the prayer of a righteous man works! It produces results. When you pray, never think it’s not working. As long as you’re born again, it’s wrong to think you’re not qualified to receive answers to your prayers! Your prayer works. God wants you to know this.

Wednesday Rhapsody Of Realities - A Higher Way Of Life

Don’t be obsessed with getting your own advantage. Forget yourselves long enough to lend a helping hand (Philippians 2:4 MSG).
As a child of God, you don’t need somebody to love you first. There’re those who are often bothered: “I don’t have any friends; and no one ever remembers me.” Some even say, “Since no one cares about me, I won’t care about anyone!” Come on! That’s a low life. Be the one to remember, care for, and love others! That’s what counts with God.

Tuesday Rhapsody Of Realities - Get “Charged” In The Holy Ghost!

He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself…(1 Corinthians 14:4).

One of the synonyms for the Greek word translated “Edify” is to charge, like you would a battery. The rendering in the Amplified Translation is very inspiring; it says, “He who speaks in a [strange] tongue edifies and improves himself….” Moreover, in Jude 1:20 (AMP) the Apostle Paul admonished, “But you, beloved, build yourselves up [founded] on your most holy faith [make progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], praying in the Holy Spirit.” This is how you get charged in the spirit and embolden yourself.

Sunday Rhapsody Of Realities - Accept The Mandate!

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations (Jeremiah 1:5).
